One of the best things I have found recently is that a lot of the council areas in Adelaide offer free immunisation clinics that you can just drop in with or WITHOUT an appointment.
St Peters and Campbelltown even offer an AFTER HOURS 5:30 to 7pm walk in session once or twice a month. This has been a great help to us as my partner works full time and without a license myself it is a nightmare getting myself, the kids and a double pram on public transport during working hours. We go to Campbelltown and there is usually a little wait but with lots of other kids around our daughter has a ball running around and playing with them while we wait.
FREE READING PACKS We went just last week and they even had FREE reading packs with a selection of reading books and a rhyming DVD with matching book full of all those rhymes my mum used to sing to me but that I couldn't remember all the words to. A free hard cover body parts book and one full of goodnight stories, great at helping your little one know its time for bed.

If you have any questions just call the number on the schedule, I did and they were very friendly and informative

My partner and I went last year with our daughter who would have been around 6 months old and LOVED IT. There was lots of info, displays, sales and freebies. For months after we were packing away sample, creams, snacks and formula in our day bags, perfectly sized for a trip out. Just the other day I found some crayon packs we got for free last year and introduced my daughter to the world of colouring in. (Was going great until she managed to hide a few in her clothes then toddle off after I thought I had put them away and proceded to draw on the walls. Lucky for us her beautiful wall mural soon came off with a little scrubbing)
HINT*** Many of the stalls have free competitions, first time around we signed up for everyone we could then received marketing calls from many of them over the nxt few days. If you are not prepared for this just watch out on the info you have to provide on the entry form.

Welcome
Well guys here it is, my first ever blog!!!
Not really sure what I'm doing here but its seems almost everybody is blogging these days so I thought I might as well give it a shot.
As the blog title suggests, I'm a mum of two (girl 18mths & boy 6mths) from Adelaide SA. Before becoming a Mum I was working full time in Finance/Accounting and studying part time in the same field. Will get back to this hopefully when the kiddies are a little older.Becoming a mother has been such a wonderful but demanding and challenging life changing event (especially since my two are so close together) and I hope to be able to share some of my experiences, hints and tips from all areas of my life with those who wish to follow.
Once again welcome and thanks for dropping by :)
